North Wales events organisers Always Aim High have added an exciting new sprint duathlon option to one of the most popular (and challenging) standard distance triathlons in the country - the Pedalcover Slateman.
Always Aim High Events and Velindre Cancer Centre are delighted to announce a continuation of their hugely successful partnership which sees Velindre become the official charity partner of the iconic Cardiff Triathlon for a fourth year.
The partnership between the Cardiff Triathlon and Velindre has gone from strength to strength in since the first race in 2015, with all signs pointing to a record breaking year in 2018.
2017 saw a record 1,300 triathletes from across the globe take part in this incredibly fast and friendly race, and this number looks set to double in 2018.
The triathlon, now in its fourth year, is widely regarded as one of the finest city races in Europe, and one of the very few that offers a technical and fast city based race on completely closed roads.
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July saw a record number of competitors descend on the national mountain sports centre at Plas y Brenin, Capel Curig to take on what is quite possibly the toughest standard and half iron distance race in the country - the Snowman Triathlon.
